The ATRA steering group is pleased to announce that the 2016 conference will be held at the Institute of Technology Tralee, in the lovely south-west corner of Ireland. Several really high quality bids were received and it was only after much deliberation that a decision was made.
As the gateway to the iconic Dingle Peninsula, close to Killarney National Park, and situated on the Wild Atlantic Way – the world's longest defined coastal touring route – Tralee is a true outdoor hub. The Institute of Technology has over 3,500 students and with its own degree course in Adventure Tourism Management it is a superb location for the fifth International Adventure Conference. More details will be announced at the Sheffield conference and will follow here on the web site.
